Remember that the congressman recently proposed the SBA out of KC proper.
That idea seems to have evolved into something better . . . Providing small biz guv access to rural areas IN ADDITION to services to bigger communities . . . And, he's garnering bipartisan support for his efforts.
Here's the word and well deserved coverage from conservative media . . .
"Alford proposed H.R. 2027, the Returning SBA to Main Street Act, which passed out of committee on partisan lines, or 15-11. The legislation would decentralize the SBA bureaucracy by moving 30 percent of its offices across the country so that the agency could be more integrated with the communities it is meant to serve."

Rep. Mark Alford said that his legislation to relocate Small Business Administration offices gives small businesses a "seat at the table."
