Clay Chastain Challenges 'Jealousy' Of Kansas City Leaders With New Petition

Clay Chastain Press release: What would a KC Summer be like without a Chastain-led Petition drive to turn a struggling Cowtown into a Real City that is once again...affordable, livable, sustainable & remarkable? Answer: No fun & No hope.

As voters excitingly embrace and sign in support of a Giant Green Initiative to employ vast improvements to reverse the demise of struggling & crime-ridden Kansas City, the local establishment shrugs with indifference. Do any of them...City Hall, Star, KCUR, TV News producers, ATA, MARC, Radio personalities, Chamber, Downtown Council, etc ..have a specific plan (like Chastain) to turn the City around? Of course not. This refusal to acknowledge & engage a Great Vision (because of dislike, jealousy, or bias toward its author) only holds back KC, hurts its people and reinforces the failed status quo in Kansas City. If it were Mayor Lucas' plan they would all be onboard, jabbering about it non-stop & hailing the Mayor as a great visionary. It is unmistakably clear that in KC, the value of an idea is (solely) a function of who is proposing it. No one has to wonder why KC is mired in its fallen condition. But the people can overcome the status quo, lack of media interest & their leaderless leaders by supporting a vision that will benefit the people & make the City Standout as a Beacon for those seeking to live in a thriving and environmentally - friendly City with Green Transportation (anchored around an Advanced Monorail System connecting our New International Airport to the Central City).
