On May 19, he pleaded guilty to the amended charges of second-degree sexual abuse and second-degree harassment.
On May 20, he was sentenced to one year in detention, with a "suspended execution of sentence" – which means he won't spend any time in an actual jail cell – and two years of probation.

A man who wanted LGBTQ books banned from the North Kansas City School District has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from allegations that he molested a child.
