"The state's Supreme Court decided Tuesday that the claims "fall well short" and that the results are valid, therefore upholding Proposition A and deeming it valid. The court also dismissed without prejudice the counts regarding the "single subject" violation due to a lack of jurisdiction.

"The ruling emphasizes that the case is not based on policy or merit but rather on the proposition's validity. For that reason, the court found that the plaintiffs failed to show that the fiscal note summary and summary statement were unfair."
