Nina Book, Maria Pike’s twin sister who lives out-of-state, believes charges should have been filed against the officer who shot and killed her sister and her sister’s baby, in November of last year.

“They literally let a man get away with double homicide,” Book said. “Full footages need to be shown to the public. People need to know. “Hey, actually we can do something about this.” We can use our voices to change the laws.”


And here's the quote from the Chief: 

“These officers, when faced with a deadly force encounter by a female who decided not to be put into a situation, but chose to grab a butcher knife and charge at them, acted exactly as they were trained to do,” Chief Adam Dustman said.
