Kansas City Toy Train Streetcar Announces Another Surprise Shutdown

"Starting Monday, Feb. 24, the bridge will close from 3rd Street to Berkley Parkway. It is expected to reopen at the end of April, barring “weather and unforeseen circumstances.”

"The closure will allow the streetcar’s riverfront extension team to “build tracks on the bridge, install additional drainage lines, continue building a new platform at 3rd Street and Grand Boulevard, and install track switches at the 2nd Street and Grand Boulevard intersection,” KCSA said in a release."
