
For those who aren't keeping track, it's important to remember that the former Prez Biden administration beefed up the IRS and had A LOT of people worried about more audits and tougher tax enforcement . . . Some of the concerns were legit but there was a lot of conspiracy theory campaign garbage foisted on the silly people who get their news from social media.
Context . . . Antipathy toward tax collectors is biblical so we're not sure there will by many tears shed over this move . . . Just more concern from other local guv workers about ongoing firings.

National Treasury Employees Union, or NTEU, Chapter 66 president Shannon Ellis said on Tuesday that the union had been informed by IRS leadership that probationary employees would be let go, though the agency hadn’t confirmed exact numbers."
