Kansas City Police Investigate Northeast Teen Triple Shooting

It's worth reaching back in order to grab this recent headline that demonstrates rising urban core violence as we approach the holidays . . . Here's the word:

Kansas City police said around 7:30 p.m. Monday, they were sent to Budd Park and Quincy Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived, they found two teenage boys with gunshot wounds. They were taken to a hospital with “serious injuries.”

While KCPD was on the scene, a third teenage boy arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound.  Police said he should be able to recover.
