Kansas City Heavy Constructors Support Recall Against Jackson County Exec Frank White

We're doubling back on this story to highlight something that deserves mention . . .

There are reasonable people on "many sides" of that issue who might actually support the Exec for that move but we thought this passage from a recent report was worth going back to highlight . . .

The Executive Director of Democracy in Action, Guy Howard doesn’t live in Jackson County, or even in Missouri. He lives in Lawrence, Kansas, and played football for the Jayhawks in the early 1990s. His sister-in-law, Bridgette Williams, is the Executive Director of the Heavy Constructors Association, which has its offices downtown.

Williams said she didn’t know who hired Howard.

“We are supportive of the recall as an organization,” she said.
