Holiday Touchdown: Kansas City Mayor Q Cameo & Local Chiefs Love

Again . . . There won't be many reviews of this movie because it's cable TV junk . . .

However. . .

GOOD ON MAYOR Q FOR SCORING A WALK-ON ROLE IN THIS BIT OF KANSAS CITY CINEMA!!!

It kinda reminds us of when Prez-Elect Trump was in Home Alone II.

Mayor Q even recently joked that he's updating his IMDB entry.

Accordingly . . .

Here's one of the best quotes on this shlock we could find that's worth sharing . . . Check-it:

"While the romance itself is pretty down-the-middle, what's charming about the movie is its affection for Alana's whole family and how much the Chiefs mean to them. Having a partnership with a real NFL team can make the film feel like, well, a lot. (There's only so much Chiefs merch and signage you can look at before it gets oppressive). But combined with other Kansas City touches (a cameo from the mayor, for instance), you do get a fuller sense that this fandom really exists, even if these particular people are fictional."

Sure, the Chiefs' Hallmark movie is a rom-com. It's also a love letter to sports fans

Hallmark's partnership with the Kansas City Chiefs seems perfectly timed to capitalize on Taylor Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce. But the story of a family's devotion to a sports team is something many fans can relate to.
