Local social justice advocates have denounced this expected move in a case that has always been racially charged . . . Meanwhile, pro-police pundits and supporters seemed frustrated that the clemency took so long.
We've heard all kinds of speculation about the reaction to this long-awaited move and even MSM newsies claiming people would riot . . . Our theory is that the case is tragic for BOTH SIDES but people typically don't make a big deal about a guy who has been dead for half a decade . . . That's harsh but the reality of this situation.

Eric DeValkenaere, 46, was serving a six-year prison sentence in connection to the deadly 2019 police shooting of Cameron Lamb.
"In Missouri, clemency powers rest exclusively with the Governor," Parson said in a statement. "After careful consideration, Governor Parson today exercised his constitutional authority on a number of final pending clemency petitions."
