
Here's a glimpse at the KCPD working late into the night to clear this local campus threat.
For now here are the basics as some traffic near Troost is still being redirected into the late evening hours . . .
KCPD said the bomb threat was sent to the university at approximately 6:15 p.m.
“KCPD are working with Rockhurst Police to search the area for any potentially explosive or suspicious objects,” a spokesperson with the department said just before 7:30 p.m.
Police said in order to conduct a search of the area, KCPD and Rockhurst are working together to limit access to areas of the campus and some surrounding streets.
