He was too slow for the NFL. That's not that much of knock . . . About 99.9% of all humans are too slow for the NFL.
Still, here's a nice postscript . . .
"All the noises were that the Super Bowl champions saw huge potential in the Welshman and were committed to him as a long term project, but a U-turn saw him released and picked up by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Now, it seems as though the Chiefs' burning desire to create history saw them have a change of heart on continuing the Rees-Zammit experiment, with every player required to be fully up to speed for this season."
