This year Summer construction planning has been some of the worst the metro has ever witnessed.
Here's one more example that deserves attention . . .
Last week the Kansas Department of Transportation closed the Lewis and Clark Viaduct that carries traffic east over the Kansas River. Repairs are underway, but it isn’t expected to reopen until the end of the year.
The Central Avenue Bridge has been closed for several years.
Businesses owners who rely on customers from other parts of the metro say they are noticing the impact.
