Despite TKC reader fears . . . Attendance was surprisingly good and public testimony was mostly useless but still important inasmuch as it's better to talk with real-life people rather than muttering to yourself after suffering more property crime.

They showed stats showing car thefts up nearly 50% last fiscal year from just over 6,000 to just over 9,000 and property crime detectives down by 25% according to KCPD Police Chief Stacey Graves. But the department received a big boost in funding this year."
