Suspected Kansas City Racist Serial Killer Trial Stalls Again Seven Years After Capture

This week the families of victims were forced to take their pleas public once more after EVEN THE PRELIMINARY STAGES OF A TRIAL HAVE NOT YET BEEN ACHIEVED.

"The hearing had been meant to determine whether Scott was mentally competent to stand trial . . . After two judges had previously given conflicting opinions on Scott’s mental competency, state law dictates that a new hearing was necessary to make a final call on whether Scott could face a jury."

Fredrick Demond Scott, who has been in state custody for nearly 8 years for allegedly murdering six people in 2016 and 2017, was remanded to the Department of Mental Health by a Jackson County judge.
