A poll from the end of July shows Missouri Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe and Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft are in a dead-heat at 29% each. In one of the tightest GOP gubernatorial primaries in recent memory, the third candidate, State Sen. Bill Eigel, R-St. Charles County, is still in this race.
The Remington Research Group poll puts him at 18%.
