We often lament that law enforcement doesn't get any love nowadays.

However . . .

The O'Fallon Missouri Police Department recently posted this kind introduction about one of their officers . . .

"Brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and a passion for working with students. As an SRO, he is committed to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our students and staff." 

And the response reminds us of the power of Show-Me State lady commentary . . .

"Someone put me down as your kid’s emergency contact….Or aunt or something…"

"Question: Is there such a position of School Resource Officer Assistant? I'd like to apply."

"I’m married but we’re not that serious."
