A fun #TBT story from TKC's city college days . . .
Our local kangaroo campus once hosted a group called "The Black Hole" and a younger and more spry TKC attended public meetings mostly to point out that the celestial ambitions of the forum were overshadowed by the obvious orifice implications. Per ushe, my sense of humor was not appreciated.
Similarly . . .
Mizzou might be correct in wanting to temper student group titles that play up racial categorization if only because the same kind of talk wouldn't be appreciated coming from any group that wasn't a member of a "protected" class.
Check-it . . .

The Legion of Black Collegians at the University of Missouri says it was required to rename an upcoming barbecue the "Welcome Black and Gold BBQ." The university said the change was needed to show the campus is "welcoming to all."
