SHOCKING: Merriam, Kansas Council Demands EV Parking Only

Accordingly . . . Here's a peek at new rules for suburbanites who dare tread upon EV safe spaces that might OR MIGHT NOT help save the planet . . . Check-it:

The new law prohibits anyone from blocking or parking in spots designated for EVs unless the vehicle is actively charging.

The ordinance applies to EV charging stations on both public and private property and will be handled much like the enforcement of handicapped parking spaces, according to Ryan Dinks, Merriam City Attorney, who spoke during the council meeting.
