Machete crimes in the Kansas City metro are more common than locals might expect. However, the recent wave of immigration from South of the Border might only increase machetes as the bladed weapon of choice for local crooks.

"The FBI said the suspect was wearing sunglasses, a face covering, a hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants and tennis shoes. The suspect left the bank on foot with an unknown amount of money. He was later located and taken into custody near the bank."
