Kansas City Pushes Back Against Missouri 'Illegal Immigrant Crimes' Committee

Testimony at a traveling Missouri House Committee forum was heated at times as elected leaders in Kansas City took the opportunity to challenge Republicans representatives with a rare home field advantage.

Conservative readers might disagree with our account of today's forum whilst progressive denizens of the discourse often chide us for not showing enough enthusiasm for open borders given our Latino heritage . . . Which is a whole different argument that we don't have time for now inasmuch as TKC has always disappointed white women.

From our vantage . . . The most important part of this report is merely to document intensifying Progressive Vs. Conservative local debate on this topic as election 2024 moves closer.

For more reference and reporting on the event . . . Let's start with Jackson County Legislator Manny Abarca who congratulates his colleagues for their opposition against the Missouri GOP in his latest social media message posted just moments ago . . .

Even more noteworthy for both Left & Right . . . Legislator Abarca shared the high points of his testimony today that is not only passionate and innovative but also it's fair to say his ideas are slightly to the left of Senator Bernie Sanders.

Nevertheless . . . We'll share more if MSM decides to follow-up.

Again . . . What's important for www.TonysKansasCity.com readers is that KC Democratic Party leaders were able to effectively rally against a barrage of GOP talking point in Kansas City today and this facet of the 2024 November campaign might not be so easily won for Republicans in the metro area.
