Jackson County Prosecutor Promises Close Election Monitoring For Primary

Our www.TonysKansasCity.com merely serves to remind our readers to remember that any manner of silliness or sketchy conduct at polling places is HIGHLY INADVISABLE given the serious consequences of charges.

It really is best to take this stuff seriously and save the jokes for your often blocked social media accounts and or trolling relatives who love you and are more accustomed to rolling their eyes at your opinions.

Accordingly . . .

Here's an important note . . .

Aug. 6 election day will be closely monitored for any voting issues

Consistent with longstanding practice, the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office will be on the lookout for voting irregularities on Election Day, August 6, 2024, Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker announced today.

The Prosecutor’s Office will monitor election day polling locations for any issues. As always, the Prosecutor’s Office will work with local law enforcement to ensure that all qualified voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots, and no one interferes with the election process. We also will be in communication with Kansas City and Jackson County Election Boards.

Anyone who witnesses issues at the polls is urged to call the prosecutor’s office 816-881-3592. The office has staff trained and on call to manage such issues.
