Clay Chastain Press Release: Like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Clay Chastain had no path to victory (in the Mayor's race) due to 'censorship' carried out by 'Silencers'....Mayor Lucas & KC's media. It's time to recall.
Ala Kennedy, if Lucas had debated me and the media interviewed me, I would have won the Mayor's race. Instead, Lucas ducked debating, the media largely refused to let me be heard and an anti-petition, anti-democratic and anti-transparency Mayor sailed to reelection.
To cement the election "sham"', Lucas censored me @ City Hall (on City Council Day) by taking the 'extreme' measure of ordering me arrested, imprisoned and hauled into court for seeking to ask him why he refused to debate. As expected, our trumpets of democracy (free, independent press) did not sound.
Count me in "Unity" with Kennedy, who bravely stood up to our Nation's greatest threat to democracy...censorship imposed by those with power. And count me in for recalling Mayor Lucas since he refuses to apologize for blocking me from being heard at a City Hall Public Forum and for his broken promise to significantly curb violent crime in Kansas City.
