Overrated Kansas City Royals Lose Another

And so we share another Summer tradition . . .

KANSAS CITY ROYALS FANS ARE BASICALLY GIVING UP ON THE 2024 SEASON AS THE ALL-STAR GAME NEARS!!!

This time around election disappointment accompanies the home team FAIL.

Even worse . . .

There is some concern about the Chiefs losing but NOBODY is really making a big deal about the departure of the baseball team. 

To be fair . . . 

There has been a surge in MLB attendance overall . . . But it's wishful thinking to imagine that the "America's pastime" moniker still holds true. 

Locally . . .

More than anything else there is a feeling of SUPREME DISAPPOINTMENT surrounding the 2024 Kansas City Royals regarding everything from the ownership, management to the bullpen. 

Here's a worthwhile quote that proves my point . . .

"I don’t know what to tell you about this team. We all knew they were probably playing over their heads at the start of the season, but I wasn’t alone in thinking that even as they came closer to earth they’d still be a very good team capable of winning lots of games behind a good rotation and a streaky but sometimes dominant lineup . . . They drop their second series in a row as well as their third game in a row and fourth of their last five."
