Kansas City Prog Blog History: Local Police Control Legacy Of Racist Slavery Days

Some might make the argument that non-profit journalism is the way of the future. 

However . . .

A recent report from one of the leading prog blogs is anything BUT reporting. 

It's activism, it's important, there's great research in the report . . . It's just not journalism given that the agenda is OBVIOUS. 

This KC prog blog is working against local control. 

That's their right.

However . . . 

CLAIMING OBJECTIVE JOURNALISTIC CREDIBILITY WHILST ENGAGING IN ACTIVISM MISLEADS READERS & FUNDERS!!!

In the end it's not important because it's very likely that only TKC and about two dozen other people read the website. 

However . . .

As we argue over the future of funding & policy for KCPD . . . There's a temptation to mistake Internets ranting for news coverage.

In fairness, here's their side of the story . . .
