JoCo Sheriff Pauses Election Investigation

This is bad news for reelection chances . . .

In politics, art and life . . . It's important to COMMIT to bold strategies. 

A "pause" is a half-measure at best and doesn't give voters any kind of CONFIDENCE moving forward. 

Even worse . . . 

The move won't convince undecided voters and offers an indication that the law man's endorsement of MAGA rhetoric might not have been wise amid the changing demographics and political climate in this suburb.

Here's the word . . . 

The sheriff’s investigation has produced no criminal charges. False conspiracy theories surrounding the integrity of Johnson County’s elections have taken root, fueled in part by Hayden’s investigation, which he has promoted repeatedly in front of conservative audiences.

Johnson County Commission Chairman Mike Kelly told The Star on Monday that he believes Hayden’s announcement is “long overdue.”
