Show-Me Nursing Home Head Check

This note is important if only because it might change the way we think about providing care in Missouri.

And it's sure to cost taxpayers more cash . . . Check-it:

"After a more than 18-month investigation, the U.S. Justice Department says Missouri has broken federal law by unnecessarily putting adults with mental illness in nursing homes. Assistant U.S. Attorney General Kristen Clark said there’s “reasonable cause” to believe that Missouri is violating the Americans with Disabilities Act."
