A late-night shooting has caused the Shawnee Police Department to increase patrols of Riverfront Park.
The Shawnee, Kan., Police Department says that around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, emergency crews were called to the 5500 block of Frisbie Rd. with reports of shots fired in the area.
