Rock Chalk Street Fight Turns Deadly

Kansas City's favorite college town isn't immune from violence.

In fact, we notice an uptick in crime in and around KU.

Here's one of many recent local examples . . .

According to police, a deputy with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office was first on the scene and saw both men on the ground with one reported to be unconscious.

After more law enforcement arrived, officers arrested 34-year-old SUSPECT and began performing life-saving aid to a 43-year-old victim.

Despite the efforts by medical professionals, VICTIM was unable to regain consciousness and was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to LPD, Miller was taken to police headquarters for questioning and was later arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder.
