It seems that part of growing up in Kansas City proper involves taking chances and dodging rampant gunfire during Spring/Summer.

Here's one more example . . .

According to KCPD, officers were dispatched shortly after 10 p.m. to the KC Fire Station at the 6000 block of East Red Bridge Road for a shooting call. When they arrived, officers found a young boy suffering from a gunshot wound.
