This morning we share a quick but hopeful look at federal efforts to spruce up the area surrounding critical services for the troops . . .
The Blue Star Memorial is a project of National Garden Clubs. It is a bronze plaque that is a tribute to the men and women—past, present and future—who have served in the Armed Forces. This program began with the New Jersey Council of Garden Clubs planting 8,000 dogwood trees in 1944 as a living memorial to World War II Veterans.
