Kansas City Star Teaches Tech As Old Building STILL Blights Downtown

Two things . . .

This month the newspaper takes time out to teach readers how to use their new digital offerings. Which kinda means that dead-tree media STILL hasn't designed content that's user friendly.

Full disclosure: Around this dump of a blog we're still a bit miffed that we have a few readers who can't navigate around the Disqus comment system but we don't have enough cash (or motivation) to do anything about it.

Also . . .

WHEN TAKING KANSAS CITY STAR TECH LESSONS, BE SURE TO OFFER HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS FOR THEIR OLD BUILDING!!!

Nowadays the newspaper is operating out of a glorified dentist's office outside of the loop. But their building STILL earns tax breaks and remains empty.

Seems like somebody should've done something with the structure .  . . Like maybe build a baseball stadium there or some attraction that would draw visitors and create desperately needed jobs.

In the meantime, here's tech help as the signs seem to be clear that the almost daily newspaper is getting ready to cut their print circulation . . .

Again . . .
