According to CBS Sports, backup defensive lineman BJ Thompson suffered a seizure and went into cardiac arrest during the meeting. Thompson was taken away by ambulance and is hospitalized.

Thompson was a fifth-round pick in 2023 out of Stephen F. Austin University. He played in one game as a rookie last season.

The Chiefs said practice is expected to take place tomorrow morning.
