Isn't Juneteenth For All Of Kansas City?!?

Actually . . . 

Locals going to these celebration MIGHT find that "radical Black resistance" is also an extremely small representation of Kansas City's African-American community.

In fact . . .

TKC has vistied Troost Fest, Juneteenth, Kwanaza and just about very East side festival and the last thing people want to talk about is politics . . . Which is just like most other places in KCMO. 

Still . . . 

We felt the need to share this post if only because a fierce activist headline and "reporting" (read: blogging) might actually might scare of readers from a great community event and a decent calendar guide that gets a bit too carried away with itself . . .
