Chuy's Abandons Country Club Plaza As Iconic Kansas City Shopping District FAILS

We know of taco restaurants that thrive in literal war zones. 

Very much like pizza . . . Tacos are so good that people are ALWAYS willing to buy them if they have any cash on hand.

Therefore . . .

Yes this chain has its probs but . . . 

One biz after the next has abandoned the plaza, the recent Shake Shack shootout chased more biz away than locals would like to admit and now there's really no sign of a takeover that's going to help the sitch.

On Sunday, June 9, locked doors greeted potential customers of Kansas City’s Chuy’s restaurant, located at 209 W. 46th Terrace on Country Club Plaza. Those who wished to order ahead were greeted with another message.

“Thank you for calling Chuy’s Kansas City located at Country Club Plaza. We have permanently closed this location and apologize for any inconvenience,” an automated voice told callers. “We appreciate all of our customers and their loyalty to this Chuy’s for so many years.”
