Cash For Kansas City Red Light Camera Return Rolls Forward

A quick brake check might be required given that the Missouri Supreme Court ruled this tech unconstitutional not so long ago . . . 

So far locals haven't offered any hit about how the new effort would differ . . . Check-it:

According to the Kansas City Police Department, 44 people have been killed in car crashes so far in 2024. That number is up from 32 deaths at this time last year.

Mayor Lucas says that red light cameras would be just one part of the solution. City leaders are also doing Vision Zero work to ensure that people are slowing down on the roads, making the roads safer for pedestrians as well.
