FIRST ON TKC: CHECK TRANS COMMUNITY ORGANIZING IN SUPPORT OF KCMO "NEEDS ASSESSMENT" RESOLUTION!!!

This is the de facto answer to the recent "trans sanctuary" that didn't really do much and Mayor Q was forced to downplay.

Here's a first look at the call to action before any other local news outlet . . .

"On Tuesday, June 25th, the City Council of @kansascity will consider Resolution No. 240530, legislation calling for a comprehensive needs assessment of the KC trans community.

"It recognizes that more steps are necessary to ensure the trans community receives adequate resources and support and commits to implementing services where gaps are identified. This includes identifying local service providers and recommending funding allocations to implement immediate support services, evaluating research gaps in healthcare, housing, safety, and trans employment opportunities, and creating sustainable outreach methods to the trans community to inform policy changes directly."
