A formerly great Kansas City neighborhood continues its downward spiral into the abyss as worsening conditions on South Side street prevent profits from this otherwise delicious endeavor . . . Check-it:
For a second Strip’s location in the area of 85th and Wornall in Waldo, it’s been issue after issue.
They opened in February 2021. In the first two years, Todd said they were burglarized eight times.
Over the last year, they’ve had people threaten staff, trash the restrooms and cause commotion inside the dining area.
“This is crazy. Why are we putting up with this? I’m done,” said Strip’s Chicken Owner, Todd Johnson.

On Thursday, Strip's Chicken closed its Waldo location due to multiple incidents over the last three years in the restaurant's neighborhood.
