
This suburban town is one of the few places in Kansas that GAINED population in the recent census.
Wide open spaces, lower rent and longer commutes might be part of the reason.

Olathe has grown its footprint by more than 300 acres for an unspecified plan to rezone the property for industrial, commercial and residential development.
