Not Even Peregrine In The Buff Could Save Kansas City Retail

A bit of economic reality for our blog community this evening . . .

But first . . .

We really enjoyed antics of "The Bear Soap Co." because their advertising campaign included locals getting clean with their products.

Internationally acclaimed Kansas City based artist Peregrine Honig was featured in our favorite advert.

However . . . 

The age of the Internets has conspired against this upstart retail outfit . . . Here's the postscript: 

"Mid Coast Modern, at 314 Westport Road, carries apparel, jewelry, artwork, candles, and limited-edition gifts. Their popular Bear Soap Co. brand will still be offered at the Made in KC locations and other area specialty shops."
