KCFD Hit Tornado Sirens By Accident

"The Kansas City Fire Department said a dispatcher “inadvertently hit the citywide alert” while in the process of activating the tornado warning system sirens for Cass County, where a tornado warning was issued at 4:14 p.m."

With severe weather heading into the Kansas City metro area Tuesday afternoon, an accidental alert sent tornado sirens citywide.
