Kansas City Westport Wagon Replaced

Today's sign of the times . . .

Here's the update and changing of the guard . . .

"It was put up back in 1963 when the shopping center was built, so as you can imagine, it has been through a lot of wear and tear over the last 61 years.

"According to the Westport Historical Society, it is rotten and is sinking into the rocks, so they are replacing it with a newer and better version of the same type of wagon today."

Westport Wagon coming down, will be replaced Wednesday

The historic Westport Wagon in Kansas City at the Old Westport Shopping Center is coming down and being replaced on Wednesday.
