A desperate editorial backs up a losing argument but here's the bigger picture . . .
A sketchy fiscal note probably won't convince Missouri voters that they should vote against more cash for Kansas City's police budget.
In fairness, here's a quote from the newspaper's argument to the contrary . . .
"We urge Kansas City public servants and community and civic leaders to raise awareness of the negative impact that a yes vote would have on the city’s ability to provide basic services to its constituents."
