Kansas City Royals Attendance Stays Losing: Tax FAIL Soured Fans?!?

Even amid a recent hot streak . . . NOBODY is excited by the home team other than sports newsies & talkers paid to hype the early season surge.

By now loyal www.TonysKansasCity.com readers have seen highlight footage from this season and noticed quite a few empty seats in the background.

And this leads us to our main question . . .

DID STADIUM TAX FAIL & THREATS OF MOVING EMBITTER LOCAL FANS?!?

The reality is that downtown could probably handle these smaller numbers and the traditional June losing streak hasn't even started yet.

Let's take a look at the damage . . .

The Royals are off to their best start in years, but fans are not showing up for home games. The Royals average less than 15,000 fans per game in 2024, the third-lowest total in Major League Baseball.

Again . . .

Those kind of numbers amid a hot streak signal something deeper than just the Spring doldrums or cooler weather.

We also can't help but notice that Royals marketing for this season has been remarkably tame. We don't even think they developed a lame slogan.

And so we ask . . .

WHY ARE FANS ARE STAYING AWAY FROM KANSAS CITY ROYALS GAMES?!?

We're curious to read theories from our blog community given that many local sports talkers have politely ignored this trend.

Developing . . .
