Clay County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Crownover Friday, May 16, after he admitted to police that he told his fiancée to stab herself with a knife.

He then filmed the incident on a Motorola cellphone.

"The defendant told the victim that if she did not kill herself, he would kill her. He also told her to choose a larger knife than the one she first picked out, and he recorded the whole thing on a cell phone," said Zach Thompson, Clay County prosecutor.
