A couple of stories that aren't necessarily important but serve as a reminder that local pets are just as sketchy as most of the humans around town . . . Check-it:
Local law enforcement was then called to the school and reportedly arrived quickly, but not before multiple students suffered animal bites.
According to the school district, as teachers began moving students inside, one of the dogs "moved aggressively" toward one of the responding police officers. Another officer then shot and killed the dog in front of several children who were still outside.
Similarly . . .
KC Pet Project said its Animal Services Division is on the scene at Lakeview Middle School in Kansas City, Mo., in an attempt to locate an alligator that went missing Thursday afternoon.
The alligator is approximately 14 inches long and had its mouth taped shut. It was brought to the school as part of an end-of-year celebration and was part of a petting zoo exhibit by an external company.
