We were out and about this afternoon and the urban core was basically just one blaring police siren after the next . . . Clearly, things are getting "thick" out there in a way our friends in the stix might not understand.

Miller faces four felonies in the shootout, including second-degree murder. Jackson County prosecutors allege his bullet killed Lisa Lopez Galvan.
