Kansas City Celebrates Legal Weed Reform

This important fact often escapes the last remaining grumps who oppose weed legalization.

More than half of Americans (54%) live in a state where both recreational and medical marijuana are legal.

Somebody please POLITELY EXPLAIN this fact to Kansas State Senator Mike Thompson when his imagination gets carried away with fantasies about the cartel coming to raid his sweater collection and/or refrigerator.

Recreational marijuana was legalized in Missouri in February of 2023.

Now, the Drug Enforcement Administration is proposing re-classifying marijuana. It's currently a schedule-one drug, considered a dangerous drug under federal law, alongside substances like heroin. Marijuana could be lowered to a schedule three classification.
