Johnson County Deploys COVID Cash For Utility Bill Relief

Inflation is the new affliction impacting residents of the Golden Ghetto.

Here's a hint at a solution by way of newly printed money . . . Check-it:

A Johnson County spokesperson confirmed on Monday morning to KCTV5 that its board of commissioners voted on a $750k allocation from COVID relief funds to the Utility Assistance Program.

Qualifying residents of the program can now receive up to $600 per household, up from $300 per household.

Assistance can be provided for electric, water, gas, wastewater or propane utility bills.
